How to use AI to plan a trip on a budget
An assistant is a fast way to get a first draft of a trip: a rough plan, a sense of what things cost, and ideas you might not have found. It is not a booking site, and its prices and opening hours can be out of date.

Give it the budget and the pace
Plan [N] days in [place] for [who's going] on about [amount] for food, transport and activities, not counting [flights / accommodation]. We like [interests] and prefer a [relaxed / busy] pace. Include at least one free thing each day.
Make it realistic
- Ask: "Are these places close enough to walk between? Reorder the days so we don't zig-zag across town."
- Ask it to mark which costs are estimates.
- Tell it what you've already booked, so the plan works around it.
